Avoid arguments when you evangelize. They drive a wedge between you and the person you’re trying to reach and can push people further away from the Lord.
A heated dialogue doesn’t always indicate the Holy Spirit is warming the other person’s heart. Effective evangelism starts with Christ’s love for others.
Sincerely check your own heart. When it is right before God, evangelism comes naturally.
